Intrauterine insemination or IUI is a treatment procedure in which the sperm collected from the father is directly implanted into the uterus of the mother. If there are issues with sperm count and motility, donor sperm is collected and implanted. It is a non-invasive and inexpensive option when compared to IVF and would typically cost anywhere between INR 5,000 to INR 15,000 for a single cycle. This is inclusive of sperm washing (filtration of sperm from the semen to prevent contamination and infection) and preservation. Additional requirements like medications, ultrasound, blood work, semen profile, and donor sperm will add to your bill.
