As said earlier, IUI is one of the low-cost options among other fertility treatments. The cost of IUI can range anywhere between INR 5,000 to INR 15,000 when performed with the male partner’s sperm. This is inclusive of separation, washing, and treatment of the collected semen sample.
That being said, the fertility drugs and other medications involved in IUI will add up the cost of the treatment. Some fertility drugs can be too expensive and can cost as high as a thousand rupees.
There are other factors that influence the cost of IUI and this includes:
- Preliminary tests and blood profile
- Fertility drugs and medications
- Ultrasound and other reproductive workups
- Donor sperm sample
The cost of the donor sample ranges anywhere between INR 5,000 to INR 10,000 per vial, while the other factors would typically cost several hundred to thousand rupees. All of these additional requirements shoot up the cost of the IUI procedure.
